Cabo Rojo

Cabo Rojo is Puerto Rico's southwest corner, with calm Caribbean beaches, red cliffs, a historic lighthouse and the salt flats of the Cabo Rojo National Wildlife Refuge. It is about 55 minutes from Aguadilla, an easy full-day trip. Bring water and snacks: there is nothing to buy near the lighthouse, so plan lunch in Boquerón or Joyuda.
